St. Paul University Manila presents MRS. A's OPUS

Renowned music professor Carmencita Guanzon Arambulo has several reasons to be happy. Throughout five decades of guidance, dedication, and passion for excellence in her musical craft, “ Mrs. A”, (a nickname coined by her students) has launched many a musical career spanning several generations.

To celebrate her 50th anniversary of teaching, St. Paul University Manila, Mrs. A’s alma mater, in cooperation with her own Greenhills Music Studio, presents “Mrs. A’s Opus” – a tribute concert on August 1, at five o’clock p.m. at the Fleur de Lis Auditorium of St. Paul University Manila.

Witness one of Philippine cinema’s respected actress CHERIE GIL in a very rare performance as the opera icon Maria Callas.

Philippine Opera Company is proud to present the Tony Award-winning play, MASTER CLASS, about the legendary opera diva Maria Callas.
Terrence McNally’s Master Class was first produced by the Philadelphia Theatre Company in March 1995. It opened at the Golden Theatre in New York City in November of the same year.

Directed by Michael Williams, MASTER CLASS features Juan Alberto Gaerlan as Anthony Candolino and Al Gatmaitan (alternate), Florence Aguilar as Sophie de Palma, Ana Feleo as Sharon Graham and Kay Balajadia-Liggayu (alternate), and Francis Amora as the pianist Manny.

Yummy TGIFriday's! We tried their new lunch fare this time (Salmon, Chicken and Shrimp) plus Caesar Salad (P365); Forgot the name of the dessert but it was our alternative to their Mocha Mud Pie (P254) but equally yummy!
